How to choose padel club management software in 2026
Booking is only one decision. A modern club stack also has to protect margin, customer ownership, retention, automation and inventory integrity.
Use the same criteria and weights across suppliers before a demo changes the conversation.

| Criterion | What to verify | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue recovery | Can the system identify at-risk inventory and attribute incremental revenue rather than only report occupancy? | 5/5 |
| Booking integrity | Locks, idempotency, conflict prevention and clear rules when multiple channels touch the same slot. | 5/5 |
| Behavioural CRM | Recency, frequency, value, preferred times, level, partners, lifecycle and consent in one usable player profile. | 5/5 |
| Retention automation | Can the system react to churn risk, inactivity, cancellations and off-peak fit without manual campaign lists? | 5/5 |
| Direct relationship | Club-owned web/app booking, white-label options and a clear path to retain repeat customers directly. | 4/5 |
| Integrations & API | Authorised APIs, webhooks, imports/exports and transparent limitations when a provider is read-only. | 5/5 |
| Channel attribution | Can the club see where a booking came from and what distribution cost was attached to it? | 4/5 |
| Payments & membership | Payments, wallet/credits, memberships, refunds and billing appropriate to the club model. | 3/5 |
| Matchmaking & open play | Open matches, skill compatibility and automatic completion of incomplete games. | 3/5 |
| Automation vs headcount | How much routine work disappears after setup? Which exceptions still need staff? | 5/5 |
| P&L analytics | Owner view should reconcile baseline, action, booking, cost and net result—not just clicks or reservations. | 5/5 |
| Scale & security | Roles, tenant isolation, audit logs, multi-location hierarchy, SSO path and data governance. | 4/5 |
Do not start with the feature checklist alone
Ask how the vendor handles a weak Tuesday morning, a last-minute cancellation, a 3/4 open match, a dormant high-value player and a booking coming from an external marketplace. Those scenarios expose whether the product only stores data or actually changes operations and economics.
Require evidence and boundaries
Ask which integrations are live, which are read-only, what requires manual work, what data is stored, and how the supplier defines incremental revenue. A credible vendor should be able to explain limitations without hiding behind a feature matrix.
